On June 8, 2026, the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting successfully organized the scientific conference "Digital transformation in fire prevention, fighting and rescue" to contribute to clarifying the theoretical and practical basis and proposing solutions to promote digital transformation in the field of fire prevention, fighting and rescue. The workshop was chaired and organized by the Department of Fire Prevention with the participation of scientists, experts, managers and practical staff inside and outside the industry.

Many presentations approached modern technology trends being deployed in the world, and analyzed their applicability to Vietnam's practical conditions. Opinions all agree that developing digital data infrastructure, building smart management platforms, applying artificial intelligence and digital technology in professional activities will contribute to improving the effectiveness of prevention and early warning of fire and explosion risks, supporting decision-making and improving the ability to command and manage firefighting and rescue activities. In addition to scientific presentations, the conference also spent a lot of time for exchange and discussion activities. Delegates focused on clarifying difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing digital transformation in units and localities; At the same time, propose many solutions to improve the legal corridor, technical standards, shared database and coordination mechanism in the process of applying digital technology to fire prevention and rescue work. As the lead organizational advisory unit, the Fire Prevention Department has actively coordinated with functional units inside and outside the school to carefully prepare organizational conditions, build a scientific conference program, select and evaluate presentations to ensure professional quality. The conference has become an academic forum with practical significance, creating conditions for scientists, lecturers, and practical staff to exchange experiences, share research results and propose innovative and creative solutions to serve fire prevention and control in the digital transformation period. Speaking at the closing of the conference, the Vice Rector highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and active participation of scientists, experts and delegates. The opinions exchanged and discussed at the conference are valuable scientific sources, contributing to supplementing arguments for research, training, advising on policy development and implementing digital transformation solutions in the field of fire prevention and rescue in the coming time. He affirmed that the results of the workshop will be an important theoretical and practical basis to help the School continue to innovate its training program, and at the same time advise the Ministry of Public Security on strategic and practical steps to realize the goal of modernizing the firefighting and rescue force in accordance with the National Digital Transformation Strategy. The success of the conference continues to affirm the role and position of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting in scientific research activities, and demonstrates the University's determination to promote digital transformation, improve the quality of training, research and effectively serve the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern Fire and Rescue Police force in the new period.
