On the afternoon of June 29, 2026, the Party Committee of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the Political Theory Training Class for new Party members in 2026. Attending the Opening Ceremony were Colonel and Dr. Pham Van Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the school; Representatives of leaders of functional units, teaching staff and 129 reserve party members who are officials, lecturers, and students inside and outside the school's Party Committee.
The ceremony took place in a solemn, exciting and responsible atmosphere. Delegates, lecturers and students attended with a serious spirit, expressing their determination to raise political awareness, continue to cultivate and train to build a team of party members with strong political will, pure moral qualities, meeting task requirements in the new situation.
The training class was organized according to Decision No. 244-QD/DU dated June 26, 2026 of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting for 129 reserve party members, implementing the political theory training program according to the instructions of the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Police Party Committee. The program aims to equip students with basic knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology, the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, and the task of building and rectifying the Party; At the same time, improve the ability to apply theory to practical work, study and practice, contributing to building a team of party members with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern People's Police force.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Colonel, Dr. Pham Van Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting affirmed that the work of fostering and educating political theory is one of the key tasks in Party building work. In recent years, the school's Party Committee Standing Committee has always paid attention to leading and directing affiliated party committees at all levels to do a good job of developing party members, focusing on fostering political theory for elite masses and reserve party members, contributing to improving the quality of party members throughout the Party.
He emphasized that the training class not only equips political theoretical knowledge but also contributes to forming the bravery, thinking methods and sense of responsibility of party members. Each student needs to determine the correct motivation to strive, seriously comply with classroom rules, actively research, discuss, and fully absorb the program content; Constantly practice political bravery, moral qualities, lifestyle and professional capacity to soon become an official member of the Party. At the same time, the lecturers are required to carefully prepare lecture content and innovate teaching methods associated with practical work in the People's Public Security force; The Political Department and functional units coordinate to ensure adequate facilities, documents and conditions for quality and effective classroom service.
Representing 129 reserve party members participating in the class, the students expressed their honor and pride when the school's Party Standing Committee paid attention to creating conditions to participate in the political theory training class for new party members. Students affirmed that this is a political task of special importance, helping each reserve party member to be equipped with basic knowledge of political theory, improving the awareness, bravery and responsibility of party members.
