Announcement: Admissions for regular university training outside the Police sector (civil system) in 2026 updated

Pursuant to the Regulations on admission to university-level training of the Ministry of Education and Training, Pursuant to Instruction No. 14/HD-BCA-X02 dated May 8, 2026 of the Ministry of Public Security on guidance on civil enrollment in academies and People's Public Security schools; Implement the instructions of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security in official dispatch No. 2776/X02-P2 dated June 4, 2026; The University of Fire Prevention and Fighting announces admission for regular university training outside the Police sector (civil system) in 2026, updated as follows:

1. Subjects and general admission conditions

a) Candidates identified at the time of admission before announcing the official admission results include:

- People who have been recognized as graduating from high school or vocational high school in Vietnam or a foreign country are recognized as having qualifications equivalent to high school or vocational high school in Vietnam as determined by functional units.

- People who have a vocational secondary school diploma in the same field of application and have completed the required amount of cultural knowledge at the high school level according to the provisions of law.

b) Admission conditions

- Meet the entrance threshold as prescribed by the Admissions Regulations.

- Have enough health to study according to current regulations.

- Have enough personal information and application documents according to regulations.

Note: Candidates applying for this training program do not have to undergo pre-qualification like the training system recruiting to the People's Police.

  2. Enrollment method

- Method 1: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.

a) Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training

- Subjects for admission: Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in the national and international exam to select excellent students at high school level organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, are sent to participate in Math, Physics, Chemistry and the time of winning the prize is not more than 03 (three) years from the time of direct admission.

- Application for admission:

+ Direct admission registration form, priority admission.

+ Notarized copy of Certificate of winning prizes in exams (if any) or Certificate of being an official member of the team participating in exams (if any).

+ Notarized copy of 3-year high school transcript.

+ Notarized copy of Citizen Identification Card.

+ Notarized copy of high school diploma (Only applicable to candidates graduating before 2026).

+ Admission fee: 50,000 VND/application

b) Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam

- Subjects for admission: Participate in the 2026 high school graduation exam and have been recognized as a high school graduate.

- Admission combination: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English).

- Entrance threshold: expected score is 15.0 points and the score for each subject in the admission combination is 1.0 or higher.

- Admission method: From high to low until the criteria are met according to admission scores. The calculation of admission scores is as follows:

Admission score = Score for subject 1 + Score for subject 2 + Score for subject 3 + Priority score (if any)

In which:

+ Priority points are priority points for areas and subjects according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

+ Candidates with an international English certificate IELTS (Academic) or equivalent can have their points converted instead of the corresponding foreign language test scores to be considered for admission in a combination with a foreign language subject in the combination.

+ The review score is rounded to 2 decimal places after the decimal point.

- Application for admission:

+ Admission registration form.

+ Notarized copy of 3-year high school transcript.

+ Notarized copy of Citizen Identification Card.

+ Notarized copy of high school diploma or equivalent;
